Karin Bodewits and Philipp Gramlich have recently published a great book on Time, Life, and Career Management for Scientists. It contains theories and exercises around time-, life-and career-management that has been specifically adapted to natural-and life scientists.The exercises will show you where your time goes and how to effectively find more time for the things you like to do. Individual Grants Programmes – A How-To Guide
Would you like to find out more about funding opportunities of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG)? Do you need tips on how to submit a proposal? Here you will find information on individual funding, i.e. funding programmes for individual projects or persons, as well as tips on how to compile your proposal.
Here is a video explaining the steps through the assessment procedure of individual grants (currently [Nov. 2021] only in German, English version to be published by the DFG soon).

The UoC has a monthly newsletter where they collect and structure all the current calls for proposals from national, european and international third-party funding sources. It also includes a section on funding for early career researchers. You can sign up for it yourself via this link.
