<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>By using the GSGS_UoC Slack workspace, you agree to adhere to our code of conduct:

<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>CKGE_TMP_i We value open communication and freedom of expression; at the same time, we expect participants to be ethical and responsible. We also expect everyone to keep respect and equality in mind so that this is a safe and enjoyable place for all participants and disruption of the workspace’s environment is avoided. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>Compliance with the law<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>: All participants must comply with the laws. Information in the GSGS_UoC workspace is not intended for publication purposes. Individual quotations can only be used with the originator’s explicit permission. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>Respect<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>: Members and non-members alike have the right to be treated with respect by any participants. Discrimination on whichever grounds, mobbing, harassment or victimization are not tolerated. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>Communication and collaboration<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>: Through the workspace, we want to offer a safe and friendly environment for GSGS doctoral candidates, so we expect participants to be friendly and open for communication. There may be sensitive discussion between members, and we want the group to feel relatively free to discuss without fear of possible repercussions from advisors, supervisors or mentors. Therefore, the workspace should be strictly current doctoral candidates only: after defending your thesis successfully, your membership of the GSGS_UoC Slack workspace will be terminated. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>No anonymity<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>: We expect participants to provide their name and only use their @uni-koeln.de or @smail.uni-koeln.de account to register. If you have an issue with sharing your full name, please contact us at gsgs-admin@uni-koeln.de, and we can consider additional options. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>Disciplinary actions<font 12.0pt/inherit;;inherit;;inherit>: If someone notices that the code of conduct is not being followed, please report to the administrators at gsgs-admin@uni-koeln.de. A person’s first break of the code of conduct will result in a warning. A second offense will result in the user being suspended indefinitely from our workspace. Disputed cases can be referred to the GSGS Steering Committee for arbitration. The GSGS Steering Committee has the final say on suspensions. <font 12.0pt/inherit;;black;;inherit>(adapted from https://gradstudentslack.wordpress.com/, 17-06-2020)
